Its beginnings weren’t so grand\, and the creators would never have imagined what the Apple Festival would eventually become. \nToday’s Lincoln County Apple Festival is the product of a volunteer board of directors dedicated to the original concept: celebration all that Lincoln County and the region has to offer in a safe\, family-friendly atmosphere. The Festival features five local apple growers\, a farmer’s market\, local talent on three stages\, foods that include whole apple pies\, kid’s activities\, and more than 250 vendors with crafts and exhibits to delight all ages. \nStop by our booth & Say “Hi” and create your very own masquerade mask!

DESCRIPTION:All Proceeds from this signature fundraiser for Lincoln County Coalition Against Domestic Violence will go toward building a new facility for Amy’s House\, Lincolnton’s shelter for women and children who are survivors of domestic violence. Last year\, Amy’s House provided a safe haven for 197 women and children who were leaving abusive situations at home\, but we had to turn away several victims due to lack of space. \nThis Masquerade Gala will unmask the stigma of and give a voice to survivors of domestic violence\, while helping to raise funds through a silent auction. \nDinner and entertainment is included. DESCRIPTION:DENVER DAYS  is a community event in Denver\, NC started by a group of local leaders who had a goal of building a community park in Denver. 2018 marks our 16th year having the festival\, now in our permanent home at the  Rescue Squad Park (across from Lincoln Charter School\, located just off Highway 16 in Denver\, NC). \nDenver Days\, Inc. is a non-profit\, tax-exempt organization whose members come from the membership of the local Denver/Lake Norman Rotary Club. The Rotary Club provides the man power for the successful annual event and all proceeds are used to support and expand Rescue Park. \nDenver Days now includes four Music in the Park events along with the September Denver Days Festival.  Music in the Park is held the third Saturday of the month for four months beginning in May.  We have music\, inflatable attractions for the kids\, beer and wine and food trucks.  The music and inflatables are free of charge.  \nRULES \n\nNo coolers permitted. Water\, soft drinks\, beer and wine will be available on site from our vendors.\nNo firearms – no concealed weapons\n\nStop by our booth & Say “Hi” and create your very own masquerade mask!
